In 2018, the Algoa team honoured the life and legacy of our late president Nelson Mandela by helping to clean up the Motherwell Stormwater Canal. Algoa Brick partnered with Zwartkops Conservancy and the Department of Water and Sanitation.
“We were supplied with bags, gloves and rakes upon our arrival,” said Clarise Botes. “We embarked on cleaning the sides of the canal, the initiative was fun and well supported, we had made a real difference to the Swartkops Estuary.”
“We are proud to have partnered and participated in this initiative in making a difference in the community and commemorating Tata Madiba.”
